Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Leading the architecture strategy for one or more products
- Contributing to the formulation of the common Architecture Strategy of the company
- Improving the architecture, performance, and reliability of our products
- Overseeing all complex design work, to ensure codebase meets functional and non-functional requirements
- Representing the work in all cross-organizational Engineering meetings and being regarded as the technical “Go To Person” by the outside team
- Knowing its codebase comprehensively and being able to make decisions on how best to extend functionality or refactor it
- Communicating to the team (including less technical members) on the project vision and breaking them down into deliverable stories
- Encouraging the technical development of peers and leverages their knowledge to take better architectural decisions
- Providing guidance through Technical Leadership, but operates autonomously as expected from a senior technologist
- Advising teams involved in the Workflow, about the use of corporate coding standards and programming techniques as well as testing approaches
- Providing technical leadership by proposing new approaches and technologies, and follows them through to acceptance (or rejection)
- Ability to take on external responsibilities as needed, including speaking engagements or vendor’s meetings
Key Requirements:
- Interested in building first-class product to solve real world problems
- Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills and the ability to juggle conflicting requirements from many different stakeholders
- Humble to embrace better ideas from others, eager to make things better, open to challenges and possibilities
- 3+ years of experience in Technical Architecture / Product Manager
- Proven ability to deliver high quality complex software to time, to scope, and with outstanding quality
- Comfortable with assessing, learning and introducing new technology
