Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and mentor quant team to research, develop models, back-test & implement various trading strategies and algorithm
• Conceptualize valuation strategies, develop and continuously improve upon mathematical models and help translate algorithms into code
• Interpret valuations and develop next generation models and analytics
• Develop core algorithms and models leading directly to trading decisions
• Evaluate and work with new data sources and analytics packages in developing investment strategies
• Lead and motivate a team of junior quant researcher

Key Requirements:

• Advanced degree (Masters, PhD) in math, sciences, engineering or computer science
• 7+ years of work experience within a trading environment, including alpha research, strategy backtesting and portfolio optimization
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills, and wilting to solve challenge question.
• Demonstrated ability to complete high level, investment related research
• Ability to thrive on the challenge of competitive pressure.
• Mastery of statistical modelling (Time series analysis, statistical test, machine learning) and apply models to solve problem in.
• Proficient in C++, Java, Python or JavaScript.
• Strong mathematical and statistical modelling skills
• Experience of MongoDB or KDB/Q programming.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Entrepreneur spirit
• Exposure in machine learning is a plus
