Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage configuration, performance and 100% uptime of distributed trading platform in live production environment
- Investigate Production issues and problems. Provide timely troubleshooting.
- Monitor, up-keep and improve the health and performance of the existing trading platform
- Mentor and advise teammates to ensure new features are efficient, highly available, and fault tolerant
- Provide Capacity Planning and understand the future needs
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial experience as an SRE/ DevOps/ Operations Eng/ Trading System engineer or similar
- Solid experience in UNIX/Linux, Networking, Python, and SQL and performance tuning
- Expert at designing and implementing secure and efficient networks
- Deep experience managing and incorporating IaaS networks (AWS) into hybrid networks
- Experience with Windows Active Directory and AWS IAM
- Must have experience with various management and monitoring software, eg: Ansible, Zabbix and Graylog or similar
- Certified ITIL is a plus
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity mitigation and best practice is a plus
- Prior experience from exchange, proprietary trading firm or top tier bank is a plus
