Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing and maintaining quality, scalable and high-performing real time applications and APIs, from conception right through to delivery.
- Developing, testing, identifying changes to support and stabilise the system.
- Exploring and capturing requirements and constantly seeking opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Balancing the need for quick delivery with designing and building quality, scalable framework that meets the short and long term needs of the business.
Key Requirements:
- Min. 5+ years of working experience delivering C++ server applications in an exchange, prop trading firm or top tier banks.
- Proven record of delivering high quality software in modern C++ 11/14 and Python.
- Experience in distributed or highly concurrent systems is a plus.
- Solid understanding of middleware options and networking protocols is a plus.
- Interest in trading and financial markets is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and desire to solve complicated problems programmatically.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.
