Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Legal Counsel and the leadership team with all legal matter and transactions by reviewing, gathering, organising and processing relevant information.
- Draft and review a full range of commercial and legal documents, including non-disclosure agreements, development agreements, work-for-hire agreements, distribution and licensing agreements, share subscription agreements, share sale and purchase agreements and shareholders agreement.
- Research into the governmental and financial regulations and assist with listing compliance matters.
- Keep abreast of the latest development in rules and regulations of the Australian Securities Exchange.
- Create and maintain documents, filings and records related to contracts, financial reports and shareholder information.
- Support with company secretarial matters.
- Liaise and communicate with internal and external stakeholders and legal counterparts working under various jurisdictions.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma/degree holder in Law with 2+ years of PQE as a paralegal in a reputable law firm or as an in-house in a fast paced firm.
- Hands-on experience in contract drafting and negotiating with minimal supervision.
- Proven track record in dealing with corporate governance, licensing and regulatory compliance matters; knowledge in intellectual property will be highly preferred.
- English language proficiency is essential. Cantonese/Mandarin will be beneficial.
