Vice President, Institutional Sales

Job Highlights:

  • Passionate about setting up a new Sales team for selling the newly launched Hedge Fund
  • 10+ years of relevant working experience in the Financial Sector including proven track record in selling hedge fund and private equity funds to international, especially PRC and Hong Kong, Financial Institutions or high net worth individuals/professional investors
  • High integrity, business savvy, well-connected, result-oriented, driven, self-starting coupled with great interpersonal skills, negotiation, communication and presentation skills with an ability to deal with multiple time sensitive projects
  • Existing Senior Sales professionals with proven Sales track record and potential in people management will also be considered.   Candidates with less experience will be considered for Senior Associate/Associate opportunity
  • Proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese & English speaking and writing are essential.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build a small competent, result-oriented and high performing Institutional Sales Team from scratch
  • Oversee the Institutional Sales team and be responsible for the overall performance of the team
  • Derive Sales strategy and execution plans to achieve the company’ targets for the newly launched Hedge Fund
  • Market the Hedge Fund and create new channels of Fund of Fund and institutional investors & high net worth individual investors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver the best of our offerings to our clients
  • Attend industry and other events to build strong connections with international Financial Institutions and high net worth individuals
  • Frequent travel to the PRC and other major cities in Asia are required

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business or any other related discipline
  • 10+ years of relevant working experience in the Financial Sector including proven track record in selling hedge fund and private equity funds to international, especially PRC and Hong Kong, Financial Institutions or high net worth individuals
  • Experienced in building and leading a Sales team from scratch
  • Experienced in fund raising & marketing of financial products
  • Existing Senior Sales professionals with proven Sales track record and potential in people management will also be considered.   Candidates with less experience will be considered for Senior Associate/Associate opportunity
  • Proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese & English speaking and writing are essential.
