Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee firm’s activity for SFC Type 1 and 2 regulated activity and ensure all business activity is in compliance with the SFC’s requirements and compliance expectations.
- Design and develop operational scheme to ensure compliance with all SFC requirements across various business activities.
- Responsible for the monitoring of the daily business operations to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Provide advice and support to management on strategic activities and daily operations in compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and applicable laws.
- Keep the company abreast and in full compliance of the latest regulatory requirements.
- Take lead and conduct business development or corporate development projects and programs related to the Hong Kong operations.
Key Requirements:
- University graduate in Finance, Law or related disciplines.
- 8+ years of Trading & Management experience in Securities/Brokerage/Asset Management coupled with Responsible Officer experience.
- Existing holder of SFC unconditional Responsible Officer license for Type 1 & Type 2 will be preferred.
- Sound knowledge of SFC, regulations and guidelines of relevant regulatory authorities and risk management control.
- Solid understanding about middle and back office operations, risk controls and investment process of companies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work with all levels of people.
- Proficient in English
