Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and project lead all Finance & Accounting and Entity set up & management related initiatives for the APAC region.
• Review, develop and own strategic & business-driven Finance & Accounting programs, policies, processes & practices including but not limited to Accounts Receivables & Payable practices, Consolidation Reports, Tax Planning, Transfer Pricing, Burn Rate, Cash Flow Management, and budget
• Lead the Finance team members to develop and generate accurate and timely periodic accounting reports to support company development and meet regulatory requirements
• Continuously seek for improvement in efficiency for Accounting System, processes and reporting tools
• Drive business-oriented financial analytics to proactively keep company’s burn rate and cash flow in check
• Manage external relationships independently including but not limited to Bankers, Auditors, Regulatory bodies and investors, etc
• Be part of the Management team to drive the company’s strategic, tactical and operational development for the region.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder in Finance & Accounting or relevant field.
• Must be CPA qualified. Familiar with the International and Hong Kong Accounting Standards and Company laws.
• Proven track record in leading Finance and Accounting function for fast-growing Start up firm in Hong Kong and at the Regional level.
• 10+ years working experience for both conglomerates and Start-ups & with 3+ years overall Finance and Accounting team management experience.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Finance & Accounting at the regional level.
• Sensitive to numbers and risks and experienced in financial modelling.
• Excellent Excel Skills and familiar with Accounting Information System
• Experience in fund-raising and investor relationship management are highly preferred
• High proficiency in English & Cantonese is a must. Mandarin speaking is advantageous.
